Terms of service
A lawyer reviews this text the week of October 20, 2026; the entity and governing law lines may change.
The rules for using the enveigh apps and enveigh Cloud.
This agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Ian Muench, doing business as enveigh ("we", "us"). They cover the enveigh apps, this website, and enveigh Cloud at app.enveigh.com. If you use enveigh, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you use enveigh for an organization, you agree for that organization. You must be at least 13 years old to use enveigh.
The beta
enveigh Cloud is in beta. The beta is free and invite-only. Features can change or break, and we can pause the service to fix problems. The beta can change or end. If we end enveigh Cloud, we email you at least 30 days before, so you can export your data. Keep your Recovery Kit safe, and keep your own copy of any secret you cannot afford to lose.
The enveigh apps
The Mac and Linux apps are free and need no account. You can use them for personal or commercial work. Do not resell them or remove their notices.
Your account
- Use a real email address and keep it current. We send security notices to it.
- Keep your passkeys, password, two-factor codes, and Recovery Kit safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you own a workspace, you decide who joins it, and you are responsible for how its members use it.
- If you think someone else used your account, tell us at support@enveigh.com.
Your data
Your secrets belong to you. You let us store and transmit them only to run the service for you. Your vault is end-to-end encrypted, so we cannot read it, reset it, or recover it. If you lose your passphrase, your devices, and your Recovery Kit, that data is gone, and we are not responsible for that loss.
Acceptable use
Do not use enveigh to:
- Break the law.
- Store or use credentials you have no right to use.
- Send requests that break your AI provider's terms, or resell access through the proxy.
- Get around limits or the invite requirement, for example with extra accounts.
- Test the security of enveigh Cloud without our written permission. Report security problems to support@enveigh.com.
- Disrupt the service or put an unreasonable load on it.
enveigh keys and AI providers
enveigh keys use accounts you hold at AI providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and OpenRouter. Their terms apply to that use, and their charges are yours. Spend limits on enveigh keys reduce risk, but they are not always exact. Set a spending limit at your provider too.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time. To delete your Cloud account, use Leave enveigh Cloud in Settings. The privacy policy says what happens to your data. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. When we can, we tell you first and let you download your data.
No warranty
enveigh is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will always work, be free of errors, or meet your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.
Changes
We can update these terms. If a change is significant, we email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using enveigh after that, you accept the new terms.
Governing law and disputes
The laws of the State of Texas govern these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Texas. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections the law where you live gives you.
